Shortcut to Success

It takes takes years of time and thousands of dollars to build a successful square dance club.

Or you can find a shortcut, like FunDancers did.  Let someone else spend years of time and thousands of dollars to build a club.  Wait patiently.  The very minute the club turns profitable, swoop in and outright bald-face steal the club from the hard-working people who built it.

Such a sick and twisted strategy only works if you can find immoral callers who knowingly accept robbery loot to call for crooks.  It only works if you can find two-faced double-crossing dancers who knowingly reward robbers and cheats.  In other words, outright bald-face stealing a square dance club in broad daylight only works in San Antonio, Texas.

If you helped the dirty rotten scoundrels at FunDancers get clean away with the crimes of outright swindling and robbery, shame on you!  San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the USA yet the local square dance scene is almost completely dead.  Square dancing died out locally because you completely lack morals and integrity.

Square dancing is an activity for good honest people.  The local square dancers do not meet that qualification. You're simply not good people.  Indeed, you're crummy rotten people who don't know the basic difference between right and wrong.  Your downright rottenness has almost completely killed square dancing in the USA's 7th largest city. Shame on you.

Here's some good news.  You still have the option to do the right thing.  All you have to do is avoid the crime scene at FunDancers.  Stop rewarding crime.  Find a good honest dance instead.

Can you guess what T-S-A-T-L means?

Take one glance at The Stolen Club's upcoming schedule and you will immediately see the effects of  T-S-A-T-L. The crooks and robbers are trying to save money by hiring cheap callers.  Clearly, T-S-A-T-L overran the club.

In case you didn't know, experienced robbers and cheats conspired to swindle and steal a square dance club away from the couple who spent thousands of dollars and years of hard work to build the club from the ground up.  What the dirty rotten crooks did is _totally_ wrong.  If _you_ visit the stolen club then you're also totally wrong.  You're a crime enabler and a theft supporter, whether or not  T-S-A-T-L.

What does it feel like, to realize that you helped dirty rotten no-good swindlers drive an innocent hard-working couple out of business?

Back when the robbery happened (before  T-S-A-T-L) the club was the premiere club in the area.  Now the club is mediocre at best.  Before  T-S-A-T-L, the club danced to national callers only.  Now they'll hire any caller willing to accept robbery loot.

Before T-S-A-T-L, the club hired Tony Oxendine.  After T-S-A-T-L, they hire John Kephart.  Can you tell the difference?

Before T-S-A-T-L, they hired Joe Saltel.  After T-S-A-T-L, they hire Arnold Gladson.  Do you notice a pattern?

Before T-S-A-T-L, they hired Wade Driver.  After T-S-A-T-L, they hire Wayne Weston. Can you detect a trend?

One word tells the entire story:  T-S-A-T-L

The End.

(Did you guess correctly?  T.S.A.T.L. means "They Spent All The Loot".)

I Was Wrong

Back when I first realized that swindlers had stolen the square dance club which my spouse and I organized, founded, promoted, built and grew, I was NOT alarmed. I thought, "Surely the robbers cannot attract any people because surely the nice upstanding dance community will never tolerate dishonesty or theft.". I just _knew_ that square dancers were good honest people.

Boy oh boy, I was clearly WRONG!

I TOTALLY over-estimated the honesty and integrity of the square dance community.

The local dance community blindly supported the lying cheating swindling stealing robbers. The dancers believed filthy raunchy vicious lying rumors which were started and spread by the people who robbed me. The idea of checking with me first (to find out if the rumors were true) never occurred to anyone. Dancers gossiped with wild abandon. In addition to being a robbery victim, I became the target of a defamation campaign and an outcast in my own home town.

When I refused to silently suffer as a victim of robbery and lynching, the crooks who robbed me set up a website to smear my name.  The dirty rotten lying stealing cheating swindlers tried their dead-level best to put me completely out of business worldwide.

Think about it:  how often do you see a website whose _only_ purpose is to smear an internationally-known square dance caller and try to run him completely out of business?  The answer is "never".  You NEVER see this because there are certain lowdown atrocious acts which are so vile and despicable that people simply NEVER do those criminal acts.

How would you like it if someone robbed YOU and then set up a website to smear YOUR name?

Yet in fact the rotten crummy swindling robbing cheating scumbags who stole my club (and cheated me out of thousands of dollars) did indeed set up a smear-site for the sole purpose of defamation.

The lying cheating rotten crooks went to my own website and found my schedule of future calling dates. They contacted every last one of my future bookings and tried to cancel those engagements. They told outright lies such as "he won't show up" or "he quit calling" or "he's deathly ill and cannot contact you himself". They did these vile despicable unspeakable horrific acts strictly to cause my wife and me financial harm, and specifically because of one fact:  when cheaters and swindlers stole my club and thousands of dollars from me, I refused to take the robbing silently.

Such criminal acts of defamation and harassment are absolutely horrible and totally unprecedented in the square dance world.

Yet, even then, I was not overly worried. I just KNEW that the nice upstanding dance community would observe the crummy evil dirty nasty smear tactics of the cheating lying swindlers and that the dancers would realize that those crimes are just TOTALLY WRONG and unheard of. I fully trusted that the good people in the dance community would steer clear of the evil name-smearing gossipy lying rumor-mongering cheating stealing slanderers and defamers.

Well, guess what?  I was totally WRONG again.

I mistakenly thought that local square dancers were good honest people.  I would have never guessed that people who purport to be "friends" would actually side with cheaters, swindlers, robbers, liars and crooks. I was so totally utterly wrong.

To be fair, the vast majority of my so-called "friends" completely DROPPED OUT of square dancing forever due to the vicious criminal acts of a small band of dirty lowdown cheating robbers. Yet a surprising number (actually, any number greater than "zero" is a surprising number) of so-called "friends" turned completely and permanently against me and my spouse after we were the victims of an unprovoked and unjustified robbery committed by cold calculating experienced swindlers and cheaters.

NOT ONE "friend" stood up to say "HEY, this is ROBBERY and it's just SO WRONG!"  NOT ONE local dancer has ANY morals whatsoever.  As far as I can tell, they ALL support and endorse (or at least tolerate) crime and theft. They continue to participate in the stolen club and profit from the robbery, despite repeated pleadings from the crime victims to please STOP supporting robbery, cheating, lying, theft, slander, crime, etc.

Having lost all faith in the goodness and integrity of the local dance population, all I can say is ... SHAME ON YOU.

SHAME ON YOU!

Your mother taught you better than that, you immoral CHEATING swindler-supporting LIAR-ENABLING back-stabbing FALSE-FRIEND flat-wrong TWO-FACED loot-spending TURN-COAT money-grubbing IGNORANT easily-misled RAUNCHY confused INDECENT vile DESPICABLE unethical DEFAMATORY vicious LOW-DOWN dirty ROTTEN untrustworthy GOSSIPS.

I can only hope that every last crime-supporting false-friend loot-spender gets robbed and cheated and swindled and lied to and gossiped about and taunted and shamed and defrauded and slandered ... and then I hope that all of your fake two-faced "friends" laugh hysterically at your plight. Then you'll finally understand what you have done.

Your total lack of morals and your enthusiastic support for cheating swindling robbers has damaged square dancing in the local area beyond repair.  The region will NEVER recover from the disastrous fact that YOU fully supported theft and robbery.

For all practical purposes, the very minute that you decided to support swindling cheating gossiping lying robbers, you signed a death certificate for square dancing.  You had the opportunity to do the right thing, and as far as I can tell, you just flat let that opportunity pass you by.

Yep, I was totally wrong.  I mistakenly believed there was at least one grain of decency in the local dance community.  I never dreamed that square dancers would enthusiastically help crooks rob honest hard-working people. I totally under-estimated the lack of morals, the power of gossip, the delight of joining a lynch mob and the lure of spending robbery loot.

People need to admit when they are wrong.

I admit it.  I was completely wrong.  I mistakenly believed that square dancers were much better people than they actually are.

It's Your Turn

This weekend (just like every weekend) the stolen club in Schertz uses stolen robbery loot to hire a caller who is willing to accept stolen cash to call at a stolen club for people who robbed, cheated, swindled, bilked, hoodwinked, slandered, defamed and committed crimes which originated with secret meetings held while the club originators, organizers and founders were out of town.

If you enjoy supporting outright theft and crime, come be with other people just like you, i.e. people who profit from crime and who support theft, dishonesty, cheating and swindling.

While you're at at, please start looking for a new crime victim.  It's important.  Although the dirty rotten lowdown robbers did manage to steal several thousand dollars from Nasser and Jeanna, those stolen funds can't last forever.  You desperately need to trick, hoodwink, deceive, bilk, swindle, and rob a new gullible victim so that the long string of loot-enabled dances can continue.

Here's a thought.  What if the next victim is YOU?  Wouldn't that be great?  After all, if you enthusiastically support Ed Wedig and Ken & Fay Wheatley rampantly cheating Nasser and Jeanna out of thousands of dollars, hundreds of friends, dozens of calling dates, years of hard work, etc., then SURELY you can support a similar robbery / swindling / slander-fest / cheating happening to YOU, right?  Wow, what a great idea!

So, get busy!  Start building up your OWN club.  Invest thousands of dollars and years of work into your OWN group.  Build it up to the point where it finally starts to pay off after years of your hard work and thousands of your own dollars.  You'll have the biggest club in the region.  Enjoy it for a few weeks, then watch as ruthless dishonest crooked swindling lying robbers steal it away from you and smear your name into the mud.

THEN, you can laugh at your OWN plight ... just like you're amused today because someone ELSE was robbed.

Just think ... you can try to convince your former "friends" to stop supporting crime, only to be rebuked at every attempt.  Yes, a taste of your own medicine will do you a lot of good, you ROTTEN ROBBERY-SUPPORTING CRIME-ABETTING CROOK-HELPING SLANDEROUS DEFAMATORY SWINDLER-ENABLING TWO-FACED IMMORAL INDECENT VILE DESPICABLE JERKS.

But that's all comes later (AFTER you invest thousands of dollars and years of hard work into your own group, only to have it stolen by swindling lying cheating robbers).  Let's talk about the HERE and NOW.  THIS weekend, go ahead and enjoy the use of stolen robbery loot to pay a caller four times what they were paying the club's founder, to call for one-fourth the crowd. While you're at it, discuss various ways to build up square dancing.  Yes indeed, it's the eternal question, "How can we make square dancing grow?".  Well, for starters, STOP CHEATING AND ROBBING THE PEOPLE WHO CREATE THE CLUBS.

Just remember:  it's YOUR turn to get robbed and cheated next.  So, start investing.  The sooner you put thousands of dollars and years of hard work into your club, the sooner the robbing lying cheating swindlers can take it away from you, smear your name into the mud, and amuse all your former "friends".

Holiday Notice

Due to a religious holiday, the local crime ring is inactive this week. But don't worry.  Next Sunday they go right back to cheatin', lyin', gossipin', stealin', name-smearin', robbin', swindlin' and lootin'.

Let's face facts. Crooks and robbers have infested the square dance activity. It's much worse than "we've got a problem". It is probably THE single biggest theft (approx. $8500) in the _entire_ history of square dancing. And __YOU__ endorse the "Biggest Crime in Square Dance History" if _you_ continue to support events financed with stolen funds and run by cheating thieving lying swindlers.

Do you have enough backbone to do the right thing? For almost a full year, I have urged you to avoid dishonest events.  It's time to ask yourself a question.  Have you even _tried_ to do that ONE right thing which actually addresses the problem? Have you stayed away from the liars, robbers, cheaters, swindlers and gossips?

If so, congratulations! If not, there's still time.  You can still help straighten out this mess.  Here's the one and only thing you must do: Find a dance which does NOT involve stolen funds, cheaters, swindlers, gossips, robbers, liars, etc. Then go to that honest dance instead of a lying, cheating, swindling, stolen, defamatory, fraudulent event.

Help put the bad guys out of business. Don't let robbers, cheaters, swindlers, liars and defamers get clean away with their crimes. Stop supporting robbery.  Don't condone the biggest theft in square dance history.  Put an end to crime.

Find a good clean event at an honest club instead.

Make the right choice

Something to do in your spare time:
  1. Go to the police station and wait until someone comes in and reports being robbed.
  2. Make fun of that person.  Call him a liar.  Call him nasty names.
  3. Demand that the crime victim never contact you again.  Cancel all future business dealings with the person who got robbed.  Threaten to beat him up.
  4. Tell everyone that the robbed person is crazy and therefore deserves to be cheated and swindled.  Drag that person's name through the mud.  Call him a liar again.  Threaten to have him arrested.
  5. Make friends with the robbers.  Help the crooks spend the loot.
  6. Repeat every Sunday.
If you go to FunDancers in Schertz, you're helping robbers get ahead by cheating and swindling.

You're supposedly a grownup.  Why do you need constant reminders that it's wrong to steal, lie and cheat?

So ... stop doing wrong!  Do the right thing instead!  Do NOT support square dance clubs which rob, cheat, steal, swindle, bilk, hoodwink, defame or defraud people.  Is that too much to ask?  Do NOT help robbers spend any loot.

You only have a limited amount of spare time.  Choose honest activities.  You'll be happier.

Remove me from your list

This Sunday a local square dance club once again uses loot from a robbery to hire callers who knowingly accept stolen funds.

Come celebrate all the rotten things about square dancing: swindling, robbing, cheating, stealing and lying while petty crooks smear the good name of their robbery victim.

Some of you have requested "remove me from your email list".

Your request is certainly heard and understood, yet you are terribly misinformed. This message is aimed exclusively at robbers and cheaters ... and the people who support them (like, for example, YOU). You receive this message for ONE reason only: it is believed that YOU support and participate in criminal activities. By the way, whenever you endorse atrocious acts, you cause permanent harm to square dancing.

If you want to stop receiving these messages, you must do exactly one thing.  Stop supporting crime! If you can prove that you no longer support the robbers, cheaters, swindlers, defamers, etc, then your name will be cheerfully removed from the list.

So, indeed, you cannot ask someone else to remove your name from this list.  Instead, you can very easily remove your OWN name from this list by submitting evidence that you no longer support crooks and thieves.  This message goes out only to crooks, thieves, fraudsters, rip-off artists, etc.  There is strong reason to believe that you participate in these activities.  To stop receiving these messages, merely stop engaging in activities related to robbery, cheating, swindling, defamation, sharing in the loot from a crime, etc.

The only purpose of this message is to help transform YOU into a better person. Hopefully you will become someone who no longer aids and abets fraudsters, slanderers, scammers, etc. Isn't it great that there's an internet service dedicated entirely to YOUR improvement and rehabilitation?

It's normal for people like you to WISH for a "law" which, whenever someone's opinion differs from your own, you can legally compel them to shut up. Unfortunately such a law does not exist, else that law would have already been used on YOU many times.

Can't you see that a victim of fraud and defamation has the right to ask YOU to stop participating in even more crime?  Can't you see that if you help people rob and lie and cheat and swindle, then you yourself are encouraging even more of those filthy acts in the future?  Can't you see that a crime victim has the right to ask you to stop rewarding the criminals?

So, for those who claim "our opinions differ therefore I demand that you shut up", I must counter with "you support robbers, cheaters, swindlers, fraudsters, defamers and liars, so I demand that you stop doing these horrible things".  For those who say "remove me from your list" I counter with "remove your OWN self from this list by refusing to support any more crime".

It is not rocket science.  Swindlers, liars and cheaters robbed the people who founded, promoted, financed and grew the Sunday club.  Quite frankly, the robbery victims simply could not afford to lose the $8,500 that the robbers stole.  Today the bad guys use the stolen funds to continue operations ... and YOU are believed to support these crimes.

Well, stop doing that.

If YOU endorse and enable crimes then I very sincerely and earnestly hope that these same crooks choose YOU as their next crime victim.

Surely your mother raised you to know the difference between right and wrong.  Surely you know that stealing is wrong. Surely you know that if you owe money, you should pay it. Surely you know that if you rob and cheat and swindle someone, and then if that person gripes about being robbed, you should NOT continue to defraud and defame and cheat and hoodwink the victim of your crimes.

Here's an executive summary: Do not support crime.  Do not honor defamers, robbers, cheaters, swindlers, bilkers, liars, etc. Stay as far away as you can from the Sunday club.

Abandon your life of crime.  Do the right thing instead.

Learn from Past Mistakes

The local Sunday square dance club:

  •  stole the club away from the very people who founded and grew the club,
  •  ran up a huge debt and then defaulted (thus stealing a trainload of money),
  •  defrauded and cheated and hoodwinked and swindled good honest people,
  •  spread bad rumors all over town,
  •  lied profusely in an attempt to cover it all up.

We can "look the other way" (pretend it didn't happen) ... or .... we can face the problem head-on.

Let's choose to tell the truth. The Sunday club is hopelessly infested with expert and experienced fraudsters and swindlers.

They outright cheated their founder out of many thousands of dollars and many years of hard work.  They turned many so-called (i.e. FAKE) "friends" against the club's founder and they're still costing an honest hard-working couple hundreds of dollars each month due to their constant defamation and slander.

Now they warmly invite YOU to a nice friendly square dance on Sunday.

If you're a total ignoramus with no clue whatsoever, go ahead and fall for their elaborate ruse.  The plain fact is that you're supporting a stolen club which uses the loot from a robbery to hire callers who will gladly accept stolen funds to call for stolen people at a club which is just outrightly totally blatently stolen.

The Sunday club is run by expert liars, crooks, embezzlers, fraudsters and swindlers. The club's original founders made the mistake of trusting these outrageous cheaters.  Let's at least try to prevent other good honest people from making the same mistake.

If you decide to believe all their lies and if you decide to trust these dangerous crooks, please be careful. They might choose YOU for their next robbery victim.

Guess what?

Guess what?

The FunDancers website will soon disappear.

Website hosting fees are payable annually in advance.  The FunDancers fees were last paid one year ago.  The club never reimbursed their webmaster for those legitimate business expenses, therefore the site will be terminated for non-payment now (one year after the last annual payment).

You might be wondering how this affects you.

The main effect on you is that the club claims they "always pay their bills on time", yet the plain fact is that their claim is just not true.  The club does not pay their bills on time.  In many cases, they do not pay their bills at all.  The past-due website fees are just one small example.

The club has had a website for three years.  The first year was eventually reimbursed, almost two years after the fact.  Years two and three have never been paid.  That's just the tip of the iceberg.  The club owes their founder many thousands of dollars in legitimate business expenses.  The club claims they "fired" their caller, but that's just not true.  Actually, the club "robbed" their caller by not paying expenses they owed.

I could easily list many other examples.  The plain truth is that the club cheated their caller and founder out of many thousands of dollars.  They stole the money and the club.  They're using the stolen funds to operate the stolen club while attempting to totally smear the good name of the person they swindled.

The point is, the club is perfectly willing to proudly proclaim "we always pay our bills on time" yet that proclamation is just flat not true.  The club says "we don't owe one penny" yet that claim is completely false.

It makes you wonder about the truthfulness of other statements the club makes.

I'm really not sure which is worse:  people who intentionally lie, or fake friends who immediately believe any lies they hear.  Either way, it's not the kind of situation I enjoy, therefore I'm staying far away from it ... and I encourage you to do the same.

"Don't Be Fooled"

Let's suppose that someone steals thousands of dollars. Now let's suppose that they give some of the stolen money to charity. Does giving a portion of the loot to charity suddenly make it okay to steal, lie, cheat and swindle?

Of course it doesn't. If a robber steals thousands of dollars and then gives some of the stolen money to charity, it's still theft, robbery, cheating, swindling and crime.

Did you know?
  • Last April, FunDancers stole, swindled and cheated their caller and founder out of a sizable sum. For those who prefer exact figures, the amount of the theft was $8,588.24.
  • Since then, all guest callers at FunDancers are paid with stolen funds.
  • Most callers see nothing wrong with accepting stolen money.
  • Only one guest caller refused to profit from a robbery.
  • That one honest caller agreed to donate his fee to charity rather than accept stolen funds.
  • Thus the idea of a "charity dance" was born out of a robbery.
While it's certainly nice to support charity, the entire event is nonetheless massively wrong. Experienced swindlers are pulling the wool over your eyes. At the recent "charity dance" money-laundering scheme, the club actually donated only the hall rent ($75). The rest of the donation came from the extreme generosity of the dancers and of course the guest caller. If an organization steals thousands of dollars and then they donate a tiny part of that money to charity, it's still theft.

Dishonest people have created a huge problem for the local square dance scene. Here's what you can do to help solve the problem.

First, if you have NO concept of the difference between right and wrong, then go ahead and support money-laundering events staged by the same swindlers, cheaters and robbers who outright stole FunDancers, and many thousands of dollars, from the club's founders. If your mother never taught you that stealing is just flat wrong, then go ahead and participate in a continuing crime spree.

Or, you can do the right thing instead. There's only one way to put the bad guys out of business. _You_ can solve this crime. Here's what you must do: Stop going to their dances! It's actually quite simple. Stop supporting criminals. Stop the madness. Don't participate. Walk away. Do something else instead.

A crook cannot steal thousands of dollars and then suddenly become a saint by donating a small portion of the loot to charity. Other criminals throughout history have tried that same ruse. The ploy never works. Instead, it is a very clever trick staged by some very experienced crooks.

Don't be fooled.

New Year at FunDancers

In 2012, FunDancers prospered by stealing thousands of dollars from the club's original founder and caller. We would like to thank our blind followers for supporting the crime spree. When we needed you to look the other way and ignore wrongdoing, you really came through for us.

Even though, deep-down, you know it's wrong to steal and cheat and swindle, we were able to spin enough propaganda to cheat the club's founders and builders out of their money and their club. We also turned most of their so-called "friends" against them. We ended up with everything while our crime victims ended up with nothing.  This is good. That's exactly how crime sprees are supposed to work.

When Nasser refused to silently take a robbing from dirty low-down immoral crooks, we spread lies far and wide. We went on a mission to put Nasser and Jeanna permanently out of square dancing. By crackie, whenever we rob and cheat someone, we expect a silent and willing victim! If our victims refuse to be quietly swindled then we'll ruin them forever!

Last year was wonderful, but 2013 will be even better. As the new year dawns at FunDancers, we need your help. Our club thrives on crime, cheating, robbery and swindling. We now need a new victim to rob, trick, cheat, swindle, defame and tell lies about.

Hopefully our new mark will be silent about being swindled.  Nobody wants to hear bad news about how an acquaintance was cheated and robbed. That's precisely why our society tends to blame the victim nowadays. There's nothing worse than a crime victim who just can't stop talking about how he was cheated, swindled, robbed and defamed. We're tired of hearing about it and I know you are too.

So, can you help us out? Do you know anyone we can rob and cheat and swindle, so that our square dance club can grow in the new year? We need our next victim to be a successful builder of square dancing, because it only makes sense to steal from someone who can build up a club that's even worth stealing.

Do you know any new mark we can target for a new crime spree in the new year? Let's continue to do the same things which worked in 2012.  We'll simply run up a huge debt with our new victims, hold meetings behind their back, default on the debt, hoodwink our victims, rob them, cheat them, swindle them out of thousands of dollars, steal their club our from under them, and then we'll use the stolen money to run the stolen club.

If our victim gripes, we'll once again tell numerous lies designed to turn their so-called "friends" against our victim. If they continue to gripe, we'll do everything we possibly can to put our victim permanently out of business through criminal defamation and slander.

Can you help us out? Can you think of any possible new victim for us to cheat and rob, in the new year? We're desperate. Please help spread the word:  FunDancers is looking for someone new to cheat, rob, swindle and defame.

Please help. Our club prospered last year due to cheating, trickery, deceit, defamation, lies and robbery. We stole thousands of dollars from Nasser and Jeanna, cheated them out of their club and their friends, etc, but that money is almost depleted. We've got just barely enough left to cheat Jerry Story out of his normal calling fee by claiming it's a "charity" dance. Let the good times roll. We need a new victim to cheat and swindle in the new year. Can you think of anyone we can steal from, so that the club can continue to prosper?

Sincerely,

FunDancers
the most experienced cheaters, swindlers and liars in Texas

How to Cheat and Win

Soon after Ed Wedig became president of FunDancers, he and the club's founder / caller met for lunch. They talked about many things including how Ed makes a ton of money by cheating at casinos. Read on for details.

A roulette wheel is a mechanical device.  Mechanical devices have flaws. Ed goes to a casino and watches the roulette wheel for about 5,000 spins. He keeps track of which numbers come up more often than expected. This phase of his scam takes 2 to 3 weeks.

After accumulating enough data, Ed exploits the weaknesses in the wheel. He bets and wins until the casino eventually catches on and throws him out. Ed claims that he typically wins $300,000 per casino.

In addition to stealing the casino's money, Ed seems to enjoy the notoriety. He brags about being immediately recognized at casinos. He's delighted when the casino manager asks him to please find a different casino to visit.

Here's something important:  Ed Wedig does not merely go into a casino and randomly cheat should the opportunity arise. Instead, he very carefully plans a cold pre-meditated scheme to steal 300 grand. Let's agree that _most_ people do _not_ earn money by swindling, cheating and robbing others.

So if your question is, "Where did you get the idea that Ed Wedig is a known casino cheat?" the answer is simply "From Ed's own bragging".

This same cunning, conniving, methodical and experienced crook is now president of a square dance club. Obviously, you can steal far more money from a casino than from a square dance club. Still, you'd be surprised by just how much money Ed and his band of thugs managed to steal from The Shukayrs.

Using cold, calculated maneuvers, Ed and his accomplices ripped off Nasser and Jeanna for thousands of dollars. His pre-meditated plan included defaming and discrediting his victims so that people will blame the victim instead of the criminal. Ed cheated an innocent couple out of their money, their club, their friends, and years of hard work.

If you find this report difficult to believe, it's probably because Ed and his cohorts worked very hard to discredit and defame the source.

Here is the current situation at FunDancers.
  • Most of the stolen money is already spent and will never be recovered.
  • The club's reputation is hopelessly tarnished: the club will never regain its pre-robbery stature as the region's strongest club.
  • Many fair-weather friends are now alienated against the club's founder due to Ed's expertly executed defamation campaign.
  • The years of hard work required to build up the club are forever lost.
So, if the money is gone, the club is gone, the friendships are gone, the hard work has vanished ... how on earth can we turn this into something positive?

There is only _one_ option. We must shut down the crooks completely, BEFORE they can find and rob any NEW victims. We must not support ANY activities at the stolen club.

We must act together to rid the local square dance activity of a terrible disease. For months, the bad guys (robbers, crooks, slanderers, thieves, cheaters, swindlers, con artists, liars, etc.) have won, big-time. Let's turn it around. It's time for us good guys to win for a change.

Let's do the right thing. Ed Wedig and his band of thugs cooked up a crafty methodical plan to cheat, steal, swindle, defame and discredit their way to success. Let's turn out the lights on their party by actively AVOIDING their dishonest events. Tell all your friends and acquaintances:  together we will rid the area square dance scene of vile corruption and disease. Let's stop the cheaters cold, BEFORE they can find and rob any MORE good innocent people.

Right or Wrong ... what's the difference?

Be sure to avoid the square dance club on Sunday in Schertz.  As you probably know, that club owed their founder and caller thousands of dollars.  They chose to outright steal the money and to use the stolen funds to hire other callers.  The club broke every guiding principle upon which they were founded.  Today the club operates dishonestly by using stolen funds to hire immoral callers.  It's a huge theft ring and, if you participate, you're being played for a fool.

Good people just do not steal, lie, cheat or swindle ... yet the Sunday club in Schertz did all of those horrible things and more.  Do you really want to spend YOUR spare time associating with a bunch of liars, robbers and cheaters?  Surely you can find a better class of people with whom to socialize.

The local area has many (okay, some) good honest square dances.  If you enjoy square dancing, simply choose a good honest club which does not participate in robbing people, telling lies, swindling their supposed friends, immoral crimes, etc.

Please don't pretend that you have no alternative. Your mission is actually quite easy.  Just stop supporting dishonest square dance events.

For those fake friends among you who see nothing wrong with cheating, lying, stealing and robbing a fellow square dancer, shame on you.  You really do need a major wake-up call.  You desperately need to figure out the fundamental difference between right and wrong (hint: robbing someone is wrong, telling lies to try to weasel out of what you owe is wrong, bilking someone out of thousands of dollars is wrong, using stolen money to run a square dance club is wrong, etc.).

Once you finally realize that there's a difference between right and wrong, here's your next step: merely gravitate towards "right" and avoid "wrong".  It's easy.  You should try it.  You'll feel better after you stop supporting theft.

Avoid the lying, robbing, cheating, swindling, slandering, stealing, criminal, low-life, back-stabbing, embezzling, crooked jerks on Sunday in Schertz.  Choose an honest dance event instead.  You'll respect yourself a whole lot more, from the very first moment that you decide to no longer support wrongdoing.

If you can't be good, please be careful

Let's be truthful, always.

FunDancers stole a lot of money from me.  The club still owes me thousands of dollars.  They have not paid even one penny. It's more than just money:  they also swindled me out of the square dance club which I personally founded and bankrolled.

Even if you have heard stories to the contrary, the actual fact is that I was robbed.  The club operates today by using money they stole from me earlier this year.

Now I need your help.

Our region is fortunate to have many good honest square dance clubs. It's simply not fair to all the good clubs, if we let a bad club get ahead by cheating, stealing and lying. Are you willing to help stamp out wrongdoing?  There's only one way to put the cheaters and robbers out of business. Here's how you can help: Stop supporting wrongdoing!  It's really that simple. Stop rewarding theft!

If you dance at FunDancers, you're helping the cheating lying immoral crooks get away scot-free with robbery. Surely your mother taught you the difference between right and wrong. Surely you know that stealing is wrong.  Good honest people pay their bills, honor their agreements, keep their word, tell the truth, treat people fairly, etc. The officers of FunDancers did none of the things that good honest people are supposed to do.

I will continue to broadcast these messages as long as dirty lowdown crooks continue to use my stolen money to operate my stolen club. Your own willingness to ignore the facts does not alter the truth. If you dance at FunDancers, you're a participant in theft. You're as guilty as the robbers are. Hopefully you can do the right thing and simply walk away from the crime scene.

I've given up on ever recouping what the robbers stole. I'm only trying to prevent these same bad people from harming more good people in the future. It was a shame (and a surprise) when it happened once. It would be no surprise (but it would be a preventable tragedy) if it happens again. So let's all do whatever we can.

Whether or not you can face up to the truth, it's nevertheless an unfortunate fact that the officers of FunDancers are cheaters, liars and swindlers.  For example, current president Ed Wedig has been banned from several casinos because he is a chronic cheater and swindler.  Treasurers Ken and Fay Wheatley were thrown out of a previous square dance club for embezzlement. The officers have a history of wrongdoing.  Earlier this year, this group of bad people robbed a good honest square dance caller for many thousands of dollars, bilked him out of the club which he established, then attempted to discredit and smear his good name. When he protested, they are now attempting to put that same caller out of business permanently, instead of doing the right thing which is to simply pay their bills.

We will not be bullied by thugs.   We will achieve the correct and proper outcome, which is to stop the criminals from doing even more damage to more good people in the future.

If you still decide to completely ignore the difference between right and wrong, please do your own self a favor and "Watch Your Wallet". Some terribly awful club leaders viciously cheated and robbed a caller for no reason.  It's a continuing pattern:  these same people have cheated and robbed other good people in the past. It's time for the crime spree to end.  Let's prevent it from happening to someone else. If you just cannot find the internal strength to stop supporting robbers, liars and cheaters, then please at least be careful.  Stay aware.  Watch your own back.  Please do not become the next target of their next crime.

There are many Good Honest Square Dances in the local area

There are many good honest square dance clubs in the area.

It's simply not fair, to all the honest clubs, if we allow a dishonest club to get ahead by stealing, lying and cheating.

If you go dance at FunDancers then you are helping a dishonest club get away with wrongdoing.

Please do not support illegal or immoral activities. We must not allow cheaters and robbers to prosper.  Stop going to square dance clubs which steal and cheat and swindle. Stop supporting callers who knowingly accept stolen money. Send a clear message to these lowlifes that you will not tolerate theft, lying, slander, dishonesty or wrongdoing.

Do the right thing and avoid situations which are gravely and seriously wrong.  My one and only goal is to improve the local square dance scene by shutting down the bad guys so that the good guys can continue.

With so many honest clubs from which to choose, why would you even think about going to a dishonest one?

Here's hoping that you enjoy many square dances at good honest ethical clubs, and that you avoid clubs which engage in massive intentional wrongdoing.

Good News

Nasser Shukayr is now the club caller for Belles N Beaus on Thursday nights. This was Les Hughes' club for years.  Things change.

Here's what happened:  Belles N Beaus owed a lot of money to their longtime caller, Les Hughes. Les asked his club to start making payments on their debt. The club decided that it's cheaper to simply cheat their caller out of the money, so they outright stole the amount they owed (and still owe) to their caller.  They're using the stolen funds to continue operations.  Nasser gladly agreed to "help out" by accepting stolen money to call for Les Hughes' group.

The only remaining task is to organize a smear campaign to spread bad rumors so that Les Hughes won't be able to call in the region again.  Some of the best liars and rumor-mongers of all time are working on the smear-campaign right now. The main idea is to convince people that Les went crazy (which makes it okay to cheat him).  This is actually easy to do because dancers are gullible and will believe any cockamamie story they hear.

Executive Summary:  Les Hughes was unceremoniously cheated out of his club and thousands of dollars. We're in the process of ruining his calling career permanently.  This is all normal procedure in the local square dance scene.  Nasser will gladly step in and help the club get away with theft.

Wait a minute .... let me double-check the facts ...

OOPS!  The STORY is right but the NAMES are REVERSED!  It's actually LES HUGHES who is helping a club commit robbery!

Don't miss FunDancers this Sunday, when they use stolen money which they outright cheated from the club's founder and internationally-known caller, to hire local caller Les Hughes.  Be a participant in dirty politics, dysfunctional people, theft, cheating, slander, etc.

The excuse "I Didn't Know" does not hold water. Les has already been notified (repeatedly) that when he calls for FunDancers, he will be paid with stolen funds.  The fact that he's participating in a robbery doesn't even slow him down.  Don't let it slow you down either.  Go ahead and do your part to reward criminal activities.

Or, here's an alternative.  DON'T participate in any more robberies. Let the club know that you will gladly do business with them AFTER they return the stolen funds.  It's really quite simple.  A club stole money, which is just plain wrong.  There's an easy way to make things right. It's a fundamental rule of life: if you steal something, GIVE IT BACK.

You can make a difference. For those who are tired of hearing about all the cheating, theft, robbery, slander, etc .... there's a simple way to put an end to it. Stop rewarding robbers and cheaters! Wow, there's a simple solution for almost every problem. If you're tired of hearing bad news, STOP enabling bad things to happen.

It's your choice.  With so many honest dances from which to choose, why would you choose to go to a dishonest one?

FunDancers Update August 2012

It's been a while since I've written so it's time for an update. Otherwise, people might misinterpret the silence as approval.

As a quick review, in April the officers of FunDancers found themselves in a dilemma. They wanted to strip all voting rights from their caller, yet they owed him substantial money. What to do, what to do? Through the magic of dirty politics and secret meetings, the club decided to default on their debt (not pay one penny) and to use the stolen funds to hire guest callers.

The exact amount of the theft, along with many other details, can be found on the club's official website (which they never paid for) at:

  www.fundancers.org/update1208.htm

The good news is that this month's update also suggests a solution to the problem. First, let's define the problem, which is:  "The Club Stole Thousands of Dollars". Here's the proposed solution: "GIVE IT BACK".  Simple, elegant, do-able.

Let's remain positive.  Let's all try to do the right thing as individuals and let's urge other people to do the right thing as well.

Regional Square Dance Listings are now back online

Good news!  After much hard work, the interactive square dance listings for the Austin / San Antonio region are back online.  These listings appeared on www.dancewithsam.com until they were inexplicably removed a month ago.  Apparently Sam no longer wants to do the listings?  That's completely understandable because it does take quite a lot of hard work to maintain the data tables.  Therefore, I set up similar listings as a gift to the area dancers.

Rumors continue to swirl.  While I -could- address the rumors, I choose to ignore them. Frankly I have nothing to say to people who enjoy gossip and rumors.  You know who you are. You know that gossip and slander are wrong, but you just can't stop doing it.  I have nothing to say to chronic gossips.

Let's stick to the facts.  After I invested years of work and thousands of dollars into FunDancers, the club started holding meetings and making decisions in my absence.  Even though I was not allowed to vote, I still had to bear the cost of the decisions.  This phase lasted about a year until one day the club decided to default on the thousands of dollars they owed me and to steal my money and my club completely.  They continue to operate today, using the stolen funds. To say that I'm unhappy with their atrocious actions is an understatement. I've been all over the world in square dancing and this ranks among the very worst things that a club has ever done to a caller.

Many choices abound.  I choose to simply walk away.  I have no desire to be around, nor to spend any time with, dishonest people.  With so many honest square dance events in the local area, why would you choose a dishonest one? If you go to FunDancers events then you support and endorse grand theft.

The club president started a rumor that I suffer from mental illness.  His rumor was so successful that several friends actually sent me Get Well wishes!  It's certainly unique to receive a Get Well card when you have -no- idea that you're infirm.  For those nice people who are genuinely worried about my health, your worries are over.  Actually, you never had any cause for worry at all.  Fortunately, there is NO connection between the proven fact "Ed is a thief" and the wild conjecture "Ed is qualified to render a medical diagnosis".  The only possible mental illness in the local square dance scene is when the new officers of FunDancers believe that huge masses of people will rally behind them in enthusiastic support of dishonesty and theft.

But let's stick to today's message.  Until a month ago, our region had extremely handy square dance listings on the internet.  You'll have to agree that most regions lack a similar resource.  It takes many hours of hard work to make this resource happen.  Our region is fortunate to once again have such a nice, handy and freely-available information source online.

You can view the square dance listings at www.fundancers.org .  I hope you'll find a good honest dance and go have a great time.  Enjoy!

The future of square dancing in the local area

This message goes out to all area square dancers.  I'm concerned about the future.

Here's a quick question for FunDancers (a club which stole thousands of dollars and years of hard work from Nasser and Jeanna).  How's it going?  In other words, how are the stolen funds holding out? Will the thousands of dollars you stole last long enough? Or will you need to steal again in the future, in order to keep operating the club which was outright stolen from the very couple who founded it?

The reason I ask is that these things take time. Patience is a virtue! It took over two years for Nasser and Jeanna to build up their club to the point where it was even worth stealing. Let's admit it, most clubs nowadays are not worth the bother it takes to steal 'em. That's the main problem with square dancing today. There are so very few "builders" (like, for example, Nasser and Jeanna) who can actually build up a club so that people would even want to steal it. And there are so very many "takers" (like, for example, the officers of FunDancers) who hold meetings and vote to steal from people who cannot be at the meeting.

Planning is essential. If you ever hope to steal another club in the future (like you illegally stole FunDancers from its founders) please be aware that it can take years for your next victim to build a club to the point where it is finally stealable. Therefore you need to find another trusting caller right now and dupe him into starting immediately on the years of hard work and investment.  Allow your next victim enough time to build up something tangible and worthwhile. Then steal it.

I'm just afraid that you are not planning your next theft properly.  This sets the stage for major disappointment whenever it's time for your next crime.  Plan ahead!  Start building something big today so that you can tear down something big in the future.

Also, start making as many legally-binding contracts as you can. That's the only possible way to continue your long streak of ruthlessly and immorally breaking long-term contracts. Think about it:  the only way to break long-standing contracts (like you did to me) is to already have those contracts in place for a long time.  So, get those contracts in place right NOW (like we did over two years ago) so that you can break those contracts after they become long-term agreements (like you did to me recently).

In other words, get busy!  Time's a-wasting!  Start right now and build up a brand-new load of debt with an innocent caller, so that you can default on your debt in the future.  Huge debts don't just happen overnight!  It takes years to build up enough debt so that you can finally get the satisfaction of stealing thousands of dollars from someone.  So get started now!

Set up a bunch of new agreements today, so that you can break those contracts years from now! Dupe a trusting new victim today into spending years to build up a nice club, so that it will grow into something you'll be proud to steal in the future.  I'm afraid that if you don't start planning today, you won't be able to steal a nice big juicy club (like the one you stole a couple of months ago) in the future.  You'll only be able to steal a small pitiful club (like the club which you transformed FunDancers into).  Clearly, it pays to plan ahead, so that your future thefts can be grand.  With careful planning today, you can enjoy a continuous lifestyle of lying to, stealing from and double-crossing good honest people in the future.

Always remember:  rip someone off first and then start the rumors and gossip. It's easy to slander someone nowadays because people gladly believe almost anything they hear.  Don't leave out the slander:  it's an important step.  Stealing two and a half years of someone's hard work and thousands of their dollars ... is important. Smearing their name into the mud after you're finished ripping them off is equally important.

Hopefully, a nice crowd will visit FunDancers to show their support for the key ingredients which make this club unique: operating on stolen money, violating long-term agreements, immoral cheating, unethical leadership, kangaroo court meetings, defaulting on your debt, ruining someone's career through gossip, and plenty of good old-fashioned plain-old down-home bald-face lying.

It takes more than two years to build up a club so that it's even worth stealing.  Get started today so you can rip off other innocent people in the future!
